WEBINAR ON PATRIS CORDE (WITH A FATHER’S HEART) – St. Joseph for India.


A webinar on "Patris Corde (with a Father's Heart)-St. Joseph for India" was held on 01st May 2021, Saturday, between 5.00 pm to 7.00 pm. It was organised by the National Biblical Catechetical and Liturgical Centre (NBCLC), Bengaluru. The Theme of Webinar focused on Father’s Heart of St. Joseph.



The webinar started with prayer. Welcome words were addressed by Rev. Dr. A. John Baptist, Director, NBCLC. The speakers were Most Rev. Pauly Kannookadan, Chairman, NBCLC. Most.Rev. Anil Joseph Thomas Couto, Archbishop of Delhi, and Most Rev.Thomas Dabre Bishop of Poona.

Most Rev. Thomas Dabre speaking about the Apostolic letter, said that St. Joseph is “an intercessor, a support and a guide in times of trouble”. St. Joseph reminds us that those who appear hidden or in the shadows can play an incomparable role in the history of salvation. A word of recognition and of gratitude is due to them all.

Most Rev. Thomas Dabre speaking about the Apostolic letter, said that St. Joseph is “an intercessor, a support and a guide in times of trouble”. He also enumerated the qualities of Saint Joseph as a beloved father, a tender and loving father, an obedient father, an accepting father, a father who is creativity courageous, a working father and a father in the shadows. He concluded the talk with a prayer to St. Joseph.



Most Rev. Anil Couto, Archbishop of Delhi, making "An Indian Contextual Response" reflected on St. Joseph from the perspective of Indian Church, family and clergy and religious. He concluded his talk saying, “Patris Corde has come at the right time during this terrible Covid 19 Pandemic to help us to return to what is basic in our Christian faith and Human relations”.

After the clarification from the participants and concluding remarks of the Chairman of NBCLC, Rev. Fr. Arul Raj Sampath of NBCLC proposed the vote of thanks. The webinar came to an end with a prayer.
