The National Biblical Catechetical and Liturgical Centre (NBCLC), Bengaluru, organized a three-day Inter-Noviciate Programme on “The Challenges of Mission Today” from 5 to 7 January 2026, with 38 participants from eight congregations.

The programme began with prayer, emphasizing that being a novice means embracing a new life where actions reflect mission. Sessions by Fr. Jerry SJ provided practical insights into contemporary missionary challenges.

The sessions highlighted communion, justice, love, and service to the marginalized. Participants were encouraged to engage with society creatively and humbly, focusing on the least and the lost.

The programme concluded with gratitude to the NBCLC Director, Assistant Director, and the NBCLC Sisters for their support, hospitality, and encouragement, leaving participants inspired for their future mission.
